Children in a rural African classroom
Education · Connecting every child

Every child deserves the power of learning.

A child in a rural classroom is just as curious and capable as any other. What’s missing is power, a connection and the tools. That’s infrastructure, and infrastructure is what we build.

Why it matters to us

Connectivity changes what a school can be.

Two-thirds of the world’s school-age children have no internet connection at home.

Source: UNICEF and ITU, “How many children and young people have internet access at home?” (2020).

In rural Africa the school is often the only place a child could get online. When it’s connected, pupils reach the same lessons, libraries and teachers as children in the city. Teachers get training and materials. Parents get a reason to keep children in school.

We started as an infrastructure company. We want part of our legacy to be the classrooms we helped connect.
